Top spine researchers from across the world come together at SCOSYM to share expertise and research under one platform. It is a fascinating chance for academics to present their work to other researchers and practitioners throughout the world, and it also gives attendees access to research from the top societies around the globe.
A chance for less formal social networking between the societies and their members is also provided by SCOSYM. Also, SCOSYM has planned Istanbul's culinary and entertaining attractions.

Abstract Submission
The submission of abstracts can only be accepted via the online abstract system.
Authors name shouldn’t include any academical title.
The name should be written with first letter in capital
Ex: Mehmet Küçük
Name and address of the institution in which the author is employed, should be stated.
Ex: Xxxx University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Xxxx, Istanbul, Turkey
The name of an abstract title should be written with just first letter in capital. (abbreviations are excluded.)
Ex: Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxx xxxxx xxxxxx
If the abbreviation is used in the abstract, the explicit name of the abbreviation should be specified in parentheses.
The purpose of the study and the methods used in the abstract should be briefly stated, the findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail and the results should be explained within the framework of the presented findings.
Abstract should be written using objectives, methods, findings and conclusions.
The entire abstract should not exceed 400 words, excluding the title name, author's name, surname.
The abstract, which does not comply with any of these articles, will be excluded from the evaluation, regardless of its contents.
- If you are going to use the online abstract submission module for the first time, sign up for the system using the "New User" link.
- Once you finished the registration procedd, you will receive notes on the screen that will help you. Please read the messages and explanations carefully.
- Since abstracts sent over the online system will be printed in the without any change, it is necessary to pay attention to typographical errors.
- Keep your confirmation messages at your email address after you send an abstract.
- You can track the entire evaluation process for your report via the system with your email and password.
The evaluation will be made by the Scientific Evaluation Committee as blind review by keeping the names/surnames and institutions of the researchers secret over the internet. At least one of the researchers must complete the congress registration process for the papers to be presented at the congress and published in the abstract book. The Scientific Committee has the right to change and decide on papers as oral or poster presentations. The result of the evaluation will be sent to all the owners of the presentation as a final letter and we strongly state that the presentation holders should pay attention to the final decision on how their presentation sits.
General Information
4th International Symposium, will be held September 23-24, 2023 at Istinye University Topkapi Campus, Convention Center, Türkiye.
The offical language is both Turkish and English.
Registration and Help Desk will be open during the congress dates between 08.00 – 19.00.
Official invitation letter can be sent on demand to help to have an acceptance from their institution or company. This letter does not ensure any financial support.
All participants must have and wear their name badges during the congress to enter scientific sessions, exhibition areas, poster areas and other social networking activities to provide security and order.
Certificate of participation will be given online in PDF format.
Abstracts should be submitted through Abstract Agent (www.scosym2023.org), Online Abstract Module. The accepted abstracts will be printed exactly as submitted so please do check carefully before submitting.
As a result of the evaluation, the clinical trials accepted as posters will be uploaded to the system in the form of e-posters and demonstrated by the participants during the Congress.
The pharmaceutical companies and medical equipment companies will be able to exhibit their products at the exhibition area located in the congress venue. The exhibition will be open during whole congress.
Please bring your presentations in a flash drive at the latest 2 hours before your lecture. You can give your presentations to the Speaker Ready Room. You can find all technical instruments in the scientific halls. Please let us know before a day if you would like to present your lecture with your own computer/laptop.

Konu: Pediatrik Nöromusküler Hastalıklarda Skolyoz ve Egzersiz Yaklaşımları
Nöromusküler Skolyoz (NMS); beyin, medulla spinalis, periferik sinirler, nöromuskler bileşke ya da kas seviyesindeki nörolojik hastalıklara bağlı olarak kas dengesizliği nedeniyle gelişen omurga deformitesidir. Etyolojik kökenine bağlı olarak farklılıklar göstermekle birlikte en çok pelvik obliklikle ilişkilendirilmektedir. Kesin bir tedavisi olmamasına karşın son dönemlerde idiopatik skolyoz üzerine 3 boyutlu yöntemlerin etkinliğinin ortaya konması bize NMS için Schroth yaklaşımını kullanabilir miyiz? Nasıl adapte edebiliriz? sorusunun cevabını aratmaktadır. Temel nörogelişimsel yaklaşımlar çerçevesine Schroth’un adapte edilmesiyle NMS daha iyi tanımlanabilir ve ilerleyişinin önlenmesine dair daha spesifik bir yol haritası oluşturulabilir. Bu workshop’ta NMS ve temel yaklaşım prensipleriyle ilgili akıl yürütme ve problem çözme uygulamaları yapılacaktır.
